Service & Hospitality

With an aging population and a vibrant hospitality and tourism market, there is now even greater career opportunity in these service sectors. What's more, employers recognize skilled, educated individuals as stand-outs among the throngs that flock to these highly visible positions ranging from chefs, to hotel personnel management, to tour guides. The SCCTC Hospitality and Tourism curriculum prepares our students for the workplace, helping them to develop and sharpen the skills they need to secure the job and succeed in their careers.

In this two year program, students learn hospitality skills on-site at host businesses in the Springfield area. Students spend part of the day at the learning site training with a CTC instructor. The other half of the day is spent at the CTC in academic classes.
